Wendy Saves the day

It was a nice sunny Saturday afternoon, The kind where all you want to do it work in the yard. As I was trying to avoid life I heard the cell phone ringing and I said to my self why didn't they just call me at home. Rob was on the phone asking about my day. He told me that Jen a friend we knew for years was getting married in Mexico and he was playing a few songs at the wedding. I thought he was going to ask if I wanted to come and mix the sound for him as musician friends do at times. He proceeded to tell me that as he was approaching Mission Valley he looked in the back seat of his car and his guitar wasn't there. I asked if he had left it on the porch. He begged for the use of my guitar. I told him come on over.

When he arrived he asked if my printer was working and wanted to look up the lyrics to the songs he wanted to sing. Have at it I said. I hadn't used the printer because I was just given to me and I had to load the new ink cartridge. After a few passes of blank paper The ink started to print and all was well. Rob was on his way for my guitar to take a trip to Mexico to be part of the wedding party. The next day Rob brought back my guitar with a 6-pack of Serria Nevada Pale Ale. We had a beer and played the part of the hero.
