SAKURA!
Sakura and Tiff at Baby Doe's
A few years ago, I went on my first trip to Japan. (Actually
it was my first trip there as an adult; I've been there once when I was
three.) Unfortunately, I only had time to visit little Sakura in
Yokohama for a few hours at dinner time. After I came back to L.A.,
Yoko wrote a very touching letter. Here's an excerpt:
What a sweetie! Thank you, Sakura, for your special thoughts.
I miss you!!!
--Also, thank you to the Tanaka and Komiyama families for your
great hospitality.
