"Birds of a feather...", con't:

Someone wrote: "Karzai pardons our drug convicts as fast as we arrest them..."

That is an out-right, boldfaced LIE!!! Karzai does NOT pardon our drug convicts faster than we arrest them. Our drug convicts are only released when the single jail used to hold them exceeds prisoner capacity... which is about five bodies. The jail can't hold more than five or six prisoners so releases are conducted by President Karzai when five new prisoners are arrested. That may happen once or twice a week, which certainly should not be construed the way the 2nd Ed writer put it.

BTW... don't ask for more jail space to hold more prisoners because you would ruin the rotating release schedule that was meticulously established by Karzai and approved by the former US Ambassador.

"Birds of a feather...":

Question: Why does it make no sense to risk your life in Afghanistan? Answer: Because Karzai pardons our drug convicts as fast as we arrest them... And Bush pardoned more drug felons convicted by our agents than all of our previous presidents combined.

What does Michele have to say about Karzai's pardons... nothing. She's at the nail parlor...

"From an Airborne Stranger to another...":

    Phill,

I found it somewhat fitting/weird that McNamara died at 530am, a time well recognized in the Army as first call.

    Signed,
    (D/W Redacted).

D/W reply:

Your notice of Mac's departure time does not surprise me. I rather thought that you, of all people, would be one of The Few who would notice it.

I met Mr. McNamara for the first time in 1984 shortly before the publication of my Vietnam War book. As you know, it is necessary for us to submit manuscripts to be cleared prior to publication. Mr. McNamara was sent a copy of the manuscript, zeroed in on his name, and wished to express to me his recollection of history for my "clarity", which I greatly appreciated.

As a former non-combat officer (he flew only a few missions for aircraft inspection purposes under General LeMay) Mac was, as was written about him, one of the "best and brightness". His only failing, which he freely conceded, was his lack of exposure to the world you and I live in. His only exposure to us was the world we work in.

Mac had an automated mind that gave many in the 1950's and '60's, including Rod Serling, the heebie-jeebies because Mac had ideas to roboticize every manufacturing and operational hand-motion humans employed in carrying out mechanical tasks. (Mr. Serling's 1954 "Patterns", produced when Mac was dehumanizing Ford Motor Company, and Serling's 1963's Twilight Zone episode, "In Praise of Pip", were specifically aimed by Mr. Serling at Mr. McNamara for what Mr. Serling interpreted as Mr. McNamara's dehumanization and designificance of the individual now living under the thumb of a powerful controller.)

The benefit of Mac's genius was making tough jobs easier, faster and cheaper. But the detriment of his genius was making easier jobs inhuman to the point they required no morality, no judgment, no personality. They required from humans only mechanical motion pending newer technology that continually reduced and eventually eliminated all human participation in mission employment or production. In short, Mr. McNamara, an efficiency expert, knew the body but never knew the soul until too late.

Like Albert Speer and Charles Lindbergh, Mr. McNamara was required in time of war to maximize and expedite production. But never should bookkeepers and efficiency experts be put in charge of people and their lives. Mac would have been the best AsstSecDef for armament production, and his application of robotics to infantry deployment in warfare would have worked brilliantly in our civil war where Americans contested Americans of identical thought processes, but didn't work in 'Nam where Vietnamese thought process bore, in many ways, no similarity to our own. Johnson, himself, was similarly frustrated in that he could never understand why the North Vietnamese would not accept his (Johnson's) rationale and methodology for peace. The Johnson-McNamara split was inevitable when Mac, in exercising his methodical way of analyzing and diagnosing a problem, finallly figured out that Americans and Vietnamese think differently. But Johnson could not, or refused, to understand that people in other countries may not think the same way we Americans think.

We lost the war in Vietnam because too many American officers refused to think as Vietnamese think. Our war in Iraq failed early because, again, we attempted to impose our way of thinking on another culture that did not think the way we think. Many Afghans are now irreversibly opposed to our forces because unlike the 1980's when we worked with the native tribes, the pattern of the previous eight years in Afghanistan was to impose our rationale on them.

The one tremendously wonderful asset we Americans once possessed, but lost under arrogant and mentally deficient presidents representing a narrow and arrogant segment of our people, was our ability to go anywhere, anytime and quickly become friends with anyone. We have lost that ability. We need to get it back.

As someone who has 'done the military' and continues to 'do DEA', you know the drill. Arrogance and rigidity don't work, good ole 'Yankee know-how' always works.

Keep your powder dry
and always be the last to inspect your chute.

-- Phill

P.S. Your physical clock appears to be functioning perfectly. Your quick notice of Mac's 530am departure to the 'Big PX in the Sky' obviously recalls that at The Point and in many ROTC and Academy centers it was required for the maggots to warm the senior's toilet seats at 5:25am for our morning 'constitutions' precisely timed for 5:30 am prior to 1st chow at 5:45am. Mac's bio-clock was permanently set during his pre-Army Air Corps ROTC for his 5:30am latrine arrival. Anyone who endured that demanding schedule still suffers from high metabolic activity for several hours starting around 5:30am. (WW2 Army Air Corps vets today make up the largest living group of WW2 veterans... possibly because they experienced the greatest terrors and dangers and therefore developed the greatest instinct for surviving mortal threats and hazards.)

Airborne!

"www.dea.gov":

Someone wrote: "Folks... that is OUR headline that was placed in a jerk-water newspaper in an unknown burg called..."

Methinks the above writer makes far too much of www.dea.gov. That website is for idiots who can't read a phone book and kids who are forced -- as punishment for being caught with an aspirin at school -- to write a report on our website and drug abuse. www.dea.gov is not intended to be read, much less taken seriously by any adult with a high school or higher education. www.dea.gov is merely intended to exist. In fact, most of the people working on the site, as well as most of the senior people here, think the website is a waste of time and resources. We don't need the site. We don't want the site. We have it only because the internet exists and Congress requires it under their open government act.

If our website were to be taken seriously it would be managed by a special intell group who would use it for obtaining or dispensing intell to specific entities, such as the service DEA Watch provides to people who know how to read The Watch.

"US Hospitals Inundated By Heroin Users in Withdrawal Because They Can't Find Heroin on the Street.":

All of the reports that I have read filed on DEA Watch today are accurate. Has anyone read the latest headline on our dea.gov website? It reads: "International Drug Ring Charged."

    What a joke!

Folks... that is OUR headline that was placed in a jerk-water newspaper in an unknown burg called 'Plattsville, NY'. Get real and be honest... have you ever heard of Plattsville NY before this moment???

Leonhart approved that headline in consultation with John McBride. That headline is not on the front page of the New York Times. That headline was not a lead story on the ABC Nightly News. That headline would not even get mentioned on CNN even on rare days when CNN is not obsessed with the death of a celebrity or the sex life of a politician.

Folks, our dea.gov headlines are a joke to the real world. Our headlines are published for our own benefit ONLY.

We sorely need some real PR help in our HQ. Our dea.gov website is not only the blind leading the blind... our dea.gov website has become the delusional leading the deluded.

The best headline that can ever be printed is one that reports that hospitals across our country are being inundated with heroin abusers suffering from lack of heroin on the streets... which means that our agency has significantly kicked some serious a** and cut the level of heroin being imported by the cartels.

Until we see that kind of headline... which will be reported not by us but by every major news outlet in our country... all we are doing in the meantime is nothing more than gratifying our own egos and patting ourselves on our own backs for doing nothing more than justifying our jobs... and hoping that we are BS'g the public into believing we are working... when we are not!

"Longevity does not always equal competence", con't:

Let's be frank... Michele's problem is like many in this agency who have never lived in the real world. They went from mommy's house to the Den Mother's dorm to Uncle Sam's government. The dorm and the fed are parents just like mommy and daddy. People who never spend a day working in the private sector and competing with truly hard workers for their meals never really grow up... their emotional, motivational and psychological systems never really mature to true adulthood... which is why we have so many career LE professionals who talk and act like kids.

They are children in grown-up bodies.

No one can disagree with the 3rd Ed reporter who said that "Longevity does not always equal competence." A child's body can grow older but his or her mind can remain arrested in time if they are never really exposed to the full length and breath of Life. Working in the private sector teaches reality. Working one's entire life sheltered by Uncle Sam does not motivate the type and level of challenge, innovative thinking, and personal quest for big accomplishments that have been lacking in our Administrator and felt by all of us throughout this agency. We are not accomplishing anything. We are simply marking time and fooling ourselves with any cheap thrill of minor bust we experience.

The news media largely ignores us... when once there wasn't a single news cycle that did not mention "DEA".

Brothers and sisters in DEA, we need a new Administrator. Michele is a retiree waiting to happen. She is not motivated. She motivates no one. And the cartels are having a free ride.

"Longevity does not always equal competence":

As far as Michele is concerned... just because someone has served in an agency long enough to recite the company Rule Book blindfolded does not make them a good leader... it merely makes them a good rememberer. Michele knows the Book... but she can't do anything with the Book except dust the pages every so often. As someone said not long ago: "No one on this planet expects little Michele Leonhart to take down a major drug cartel. She is totally incapable despite the fact that she has been DEA for almost 30 years and in senior management almost half of that time."

We have women in this agency... really GOOD, smart and competent DEA women... who are depressed as Hell about Michele's gross incompetence and gross inactivity that makes all DEA women look like cows chewing cud instead of stampeding the predator wolves into the ground.

A career LE woman finally gets the chance to lead a major LE agency and all she can produce after more than a quarter of a Century in the narc business are mom-and-pop arrests and a cable TV show produced by a comedian whose private passion is writing cook books.

We DEA women are greatly disappointed in Leonhart. She makes us look really bad.

"Husband and wife teams":

Someone wrote: "... A similar rumor about Leonhart and her husband was first spread during the Clinton Administration when Leonhart got a promotion under TC. The people recirculating this rumor are jealous jerks who have simply changed the wording to fit the moment." Leonhart's husband is an excellent cop and is respected by many. In fact, he is long overdue for a presidential appointment."

Well... it's about time someone said something nice about the second Laurel and Hardy team that has been running our agency for the past 18 months. Tandy and her husband were the first L&H bimbos in charge.

The current L&H duo not accomplishing anything suffers from the same ailment that plagued the first L&H goonies... both Tandy and Leonhart suffer from sexism, egoism and penis envy... as evident in the fact that both women refused to accept their husband's names when they were married. Any female who demands to retain her pre-marriage handle clearly proves her inferiority complex is in full bloom... which clearly proves her incompetence because she believes that keeping her maiden name will prove to all that her husband does not serve as her manager, when in fact he is in complete charge. And because both Tandy and Leonhart's husbands were not DEA their advice and proxy control has resulted in total failures in our agency across the board. They advise their wives with unworkable advice because they don't know how our agency truly operates. Leonhart's husband's G/S jobs were entirely the result of his wife's DEA job. If he wasn't married to Michele he would never have become a DEA G/S.

It didn't take long for CNN, MSNBC and Fox to dump Tandy's husband when realizing he knew as much about terrorism as Daffy Duck. Michele's husband keeps a low profile but there is not an LE manager her in Calif who doesn't regard him as a joke who uses his wife's name 900 times a day.

As far as Michele is concerned... just because someone has served in an agency long enough to recite the company Rule Book blindfolded does not make them a good leader... it merely makes them a good rememberer. Michele knows the Book... but she can't do anything with it except dust the pages every so often.

"A Michele Millennium", con't:

Ditto the 5th reporter. A lot of us here in L.A. wish Michele and her husband would switch jobs. (Leonhart's husband), as a G/S, produced more drug convictions than every other group. He shouldn't be tainted by Bockelkamp who was an embarassment to us all. No G/S should be held responsible for independent conduct of his people. Bockelkamp took advantage of his friendship with everyone.

This rumor is completely untrue. A similar rumor about Leonhart and her husband was first spread during the Clinton Administration when Leonhart got a promotion under TC. The people recirculating this rumor are jealous jerks who have simply changed the wording to fit the moment. Leonhart's husband is an excellent cop and is respected by many. "What if... Afghanistan":

Someone wrote: "There will come a time, hopefully soon, when the American public figures out that Obama is perpetuating his war in Afghanistan for the same reason Bush Jr perpetuated his war in Iraq..."

Bush's handpicked successor John McCain could have easily defeated Barack Obama, and still continued his wars in Iraq and Afghanistan... and opened a new war in Iran... if Bush has simply announced in June, 2008 that he would immediately begin pulling troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan... and pulled out thousands before election day. Then, after McCain won, McCain would re-insert those troops and allow his new SecDef, Joe Liebermann who holds dual-citizenhips in Israel, to initiate a third new war in Iran.

Johnson engineered the Gulf of Tonkin scam to take the wind out of Goldwater's pro-war sails. Reagan blew away Carter by talking tough on the Russkies. Sometimes a leader needs to take a few steps back and reverse their position in order to jump a lot of leaps forward... but moron leaders don't have the brains or egos to even consider other avenues.

To follow-up on an even earlier report by someone writing about suspect frisking, to my knowledge there is no policy to date on how open homosexuals in LE can frisk or handle same-sex suspects. Most LE agencies will allow females on their depts to open-palm search both male and female suspect's private/sexual areas. Only in very, very urgent situations are males allowed to open-hand search a female suspect's private body areas, under condition that another LE person is in attendance. But 99.9% of US LE agencies still have no policy on how homosexuals in their depts may physically frisk (open or back-hand) a suspect. Needless to say, heterosexual suspects will not want a homosexual touching their private areas because permitting LE homosexuals to "fondle" (this would be the complaint) sex areas could lead to very serious court problems... and all the more reason why homosexuals in LE, just as in the military, should never disclose their sexual identity.

Michele and Barack share the same headache... both were preceded by morons who left major problems that require really fast resolutions... except that Obama was not Bush's VP but Michele was Tandy's 'VP'. Obama had no say-so in any of Bush's dumb decisions whereas Michele had just about full knowledge, and participated or agreed, in all of Tandy's decisions and policies. In fact, it was Michele's job as Tandy's 'VP' to carry out Tandy's idiotic policies.

Yes, Obama did make some campaign blunders such as his promise to end DADT. But Obama did not receive the full story on DADT from his pre-election advisors, some of whom were homosexual and were in favor of allowing gays to openly share privacy areas with their sex targets. After his election Obama entered the Reality Zone and found out that what his gay advisors told him wasn't the full truth. Michele, on the other hand, shared the same advisors Tandy had, and retained them... which is why she continues to screw things up that should/could be fixed almost instantaneously by someone with a clear head... which Michele does not possess.

Someone needs to submit a survey to find out who would make a good Administrator for us. This survey should require the name submittor to include a brief paragraph explaining why their selection should be our new DEA Administrator.

"Charlie Obama's War", con't:

The 7th Ed writer is write/right on the mark. What makes Obama not feel guilty for having the privilege of saluting his Marine guards is the war he keeps going on in Afghanistan.

Obama is keeping both Afghanistan and Iraq going on to maintain his CINC creds and distract from his inability to get his flakey Congressional Democrat nuts in line to support long needed health care and other reforms.

We need money in this agency to fight the drug war. We need money to hire hundreds of discharging military vets who don't have the chickens**t fear too many of our current S/As have when it comes to going toe-to-toe with the enemy dealers on the street and cartels in the bush. We will never get that money as long as Obama keeps his phony war in Afghanistan going strong.

The Afghans are not fighting us so that they can shelter al-Queda. The Afghans are fighting us because we are fighting them. Obama knows this, and he knows that if we pulled out of Afghanistan tomorrow our national security would still be only as secure as our agency and others make it. We got hit on 9/11 because WE f**ked up... not because al-Queda was smarter.

I commend our DEA pilots in Afghanistan for bringing national attention to the fact that Obama is now forcing American's to participate in a war we all know ended long ago and is nothing now but a money pit and blood pit for Obama's military credentials... bravo 7th Ed writer!!!.

Obama should give the Karzai brother's condos in FL and call it a day in Afghanistan. A re-newed DEA under new leadership can stop the Afghan heroin on our streets without our military kids and billions of our dollars going to Afghanistan just to make Obama look like a military Commander in Chief.

How can Obama be his hero Abraham Lincoln Jr if he doesn't have a war going on???

The war in Afghanistan ended six years ago when Bush sent his four-star moron Dick Myers to Afghanistan to call off the B-52 strikes on the Tora Bora Mountains that allowed Osama bin Laden to walk away. OBL walked away. He walked out of Afghanistan to Pakistan and he hasn't been back since.

Has everyone forgotten why we invaded Afghanistan in 2001? We invaded that country to get rid of al-Queda. We did not invade Afghanistan to get rid of al-Queda's hosts, the Taleban. So why has the Obama Administration all of the sudden started changing the war -- as Bush did almost on a weekly basis after he invaded Iraq -- to now make our fight against the Taleban???

The WH doesn't even bother to mention al-Queda in Afghanistan anymore... because al-Queda is no longer operating in Afghanistan. The WH now talks about our need to continue fighting the Taleban... who never attacked us on 9/11.

The war in Afghanistan ended six years ago. There is no reason for us or the UK or our forced Allies to be in Afghanistan. Like another writer said, if we have problems with their dope growth we can deal with it without keeping thousands of our kids in that country. And as far as OBL moving back into Afghanistan... who the f**k cares where OBL pitches his tent. The problem isn't where OBL hangs his hat, the problem is -- and has always been -- the dorks in our FBI, CIA and DEA who allow OBL's henchmen to take flying lessons in our country for the purpose of blowing up our buildings that our morons in NY can't seem to figure out how to rebuild.

The problem isn't -- and has never been -- the Taleban or OBL. The problem is mental midgets wearing US LE and Intell badges who spend most of their day with their heads up their a**es while criminals and terrorists run wild in our streets.

There will come a time, hopefully soon, when the American public figures out that Obama is perpetuating his war in Afghanistan for the same reason Bush Jr perpetuated his war in Iraq... and both of them ignoring the principled and moral judgment of Bush Sr, a WW2 veteran, who said that we shouldn't keep a war going just to win votes... had Bush kept Gulf War I going on he would have defeated Bill Clinton despite the recession he regrettfully allowed Simon and the other financial a**holes in his administration to cause and exacerbate for greed.

There is no war in Afghanistan... except for the war Obama is perpetuating for personal and political reasons...

There is new word on the street that the investigation of hired assasins from the criminal pool in the Los Angeles County Jail has expanded to include certain members of LE.

It was believed that the recruiting of hired hitmen was limited to gangs, but recent testimony due to the hard work of an individual investigating the Bockelkamp suicide (?) has uncovered a nest of LE officials who are suspected of recruiting assasins.

The Los Angeles County Jail has long since been known as Headquarters for the most bloody criminals in US history. Rampant drug use, homosexuality, prisoner abuse, gang activity and witness intimidation are daily SOP in that facility which is run by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

The recruiting and employment of hired hitman for pay, lower or evacuation of sentences by senior LASD officials providing murderers to other LE managers around the country comes to no surprise to investigators, who to date, have been unable to end the nightmare because many investigators were removed or reassigned when they got too close.

There hasn't been any major job openings since HSA was created, and a lot of our people jumped out of this agency, including our Administrator, to join HSA or one of its new components.

As it is now, we have to tow the line, don't rock the boat and keep our jobs. Obama is keeping the job situation bad because a bad economy means more military enlistments. You are right, but it's not our fault. It's Michele's fault.

Because she does not want to hear even constructive criticism she has, like Tandy, put the word out that she does not want to hear the words "DEA Watch" spoken in her presence. This means that we have to go around all day pretending the 900 lb gorilla in the room isn't there.

Also, just as her own husband and kids cannot secretly publish a few kind words about her, neither can we because we might slip and say something that she will easily know where it came from. And if she finds out that you have been reading criticism about her she will not be happy toward you, to put it mildly.

I understand what you (the 1st Ed writer) is saying, but try to understand that our Administrator spent the last eight years working under a president who ignored anything he didn't want to know about. That twisted personality disease trickled down through all of his appointees, and has even infected the Obama WH which has reneged many times on its campaign promise for full, open government.

Some individuals see themselves as Emperors and Empresses. They believe they have no equal. Some, like our former president, even believe they were appointed by God. Far be it from us to do anything that will bring the wrath of our Administrator/God upon us. Leonhart is not only the senior DEA person, she is also a woman. Women react very bitterly to criticism. Female feelings are easily hurt because females themselves aren't sure all of the time what they want to hear and what they don't want to hear, or from whom. But it also seems obvious why Mrs. Leonhart has such disdain for her employees. As a woman she must be terribly hurt that of all the underlings who daily suck up to her title and run to kiss her a**, not a single one of those people will publish something nice about her. I have not read a single complimemt of her performance or anything she's done good, which means Mrs. Leonhart must be sharply aware that all of those suck-ups and butt lickers who smile to her face in the office or on the phone are really wearing scowls and hatred under their skin.

No leader will treat his or her people with respect when he or she knows that people really don't like them.

I agree. Unlike many African-Americans who joined our agency much later than Michele and have contemporaries they must compete with, both Leonhart and Thomas were very early affirmative action recipients who had no rivals and had only to prove to their white managers that they would be good little Negroes.

And because they never rocked the boat and did everything they could to appear white they advanced. Ruth Beaver, possibly Leonhart's closest African-American rival, was shades different than Leonhart. Beaver spoke out when she witnessed racism. Leonhart pretended she was blind. Beaver refused to remain silent when she heard about sexual abuse. Leonhart pretended she was deaf. Beaver advanced as high as our white hierarchy would permit before being compelled to leave. Leonhart continued to rise.

But if history had been different and Beaver could have made Administrator we would all be seeing some hellacious forward momentum in this agency. We would not be making the retro-1980's level arrests we are now making, we would be banging on the doors of the drug cartels.

Leonhart has returned our agency to the 1980's so that she can relive her early days in DEA. Beaver would have us operating not just in the present, but in the future.

I worked briefly under Michele. I agree with the above statement.

Before joining DEA (I am now retired) I served in the military. Prior to serving in Vietnam I attended Officer Candidate School. After reading what the above author said I recalled reading something in OCS that I never forgot. It was, "Soldiers like to see the men who are directing operations; they properly resent any indication of neglect of indifference to them on the part of their commanders and invariably interpret a visit, even a brief one, as evidence of the commander's concern for them. Diffidence or modesty must never blind the commander to his duty or showing himself to his men, of speaking to them, of mingling with them to the extent of physical limitations. If pays big dividends in terms of morale, and morale, given rough equality in other things, is supreme on the battlefield."

That was written by Dwight D. Eisenhower who commanded Allied forces in WW2. Applied in civilian form to our Administrator, this means that she should constantly visit DEA offices around the country, ensuring that with each city stop she is pre-scheduled to appear on local TV or radio to communicate our agency's work in the drug war.

All of America should know the name and the face of the DEA Administrator who is the second highest person under the President charged with eradicating illegal drugs from our streets, schools, prisons, workplace and recreational facilities. As well, every DEA employee should get to see our Administrator close up. They should feel, after seeing her in person and hearing her speak, that she is behind all of their efforts to reign in illegal drug peddlers.

But, obviously, when an Administrator so pronouncefully and arrogantly communicates her lack of respect for a DEA employee who was killed, such as Markey and Byrne, both of whom were murdered while on TDY away from home, the Administrator sends the bad message that she doesn't give a s**t about the murdered employee, and DEA victims must meet her own particular and special criteria before she will recognize their sacrifice.

Michele Leonhart is the opposite of what Eisenhower recommended for top leadership. And the reason for that is because she has never been exposed to danger, all of her promotions were gratis and not earned, and she totally lacks any concept of humility, understanding or compassion. Her life has been and is one of self adulation and self worship. Michele Leonhart is a female Clarence Thomas who believes she alone is to thank for her current position which she believes was long deserved and possibly even ordained.

"Charlie Airwing's War... and DADT", con't:

The 9th Ed writer raises a concern that I have never heard mentioned in the military DADT discussion... and that is the effect an American openly homosexual military will have on other countries.

Needless to say, the most vociferous advocates for ending DADT are females and lesbians... i.e., people who are natural opponents of both males and testosterone... and people who will never serve in combat anyway because even if Obama ends DADT he, who has two daughters, will never assign our girl soldiers to openly serve as grunts on any battlefield against opposing males in the other guy's army.

And having openly homosexual soldiers operate as liberators in countries that will most likely be primarily concerned with rebuilding their native populations after a destructive war will not want the distraction of having their remaining young males influenced, so to speak, by homosexuals in our Army. That is, natives may not be too opposed to our heterosexual soldiers helping them to re-populate, but they won't want any homosexual soldiers distracting their own young men from assisting in national re-population.

The advocates for ending DADT in our military seem to forget that because homosexuals here in the US have abundant access to medical technology that allows them to reproduce artificially, other nations, and especially those that have been ravaged by war, will not have nor want that medical technology. Other nations hoping to rebuild their country's and populations will want to use the old fashioned, natural system. Any technology they want from our factories will be for use in purposes other than making babies artificially in exchange for trading off their sons so that American military homosexuals have ripe pickings for fun.

This DADT business is serious. Ending DADT will only work if we plan (and promise other countries) to keep our homosexual soldiers here at home on US soil just as we keep our female soldier off the combat lines.

And if we think that our homosexual soldiers are having a hard time from being assaulted by our hetero soldiers here in the US, we need to think about ALL of our soldiers being subjected to physical assault if we end DADT and announce that we are now going to send homosexuals to other countries around the world.

Remember what the Brits said about our horny GI's during WWII awaiting in boredom to invade France... "Over paid, over sexed... and over here!!!" And that was a heterosexual GI US Army that met a lot of anger. A homosexual GI US Army will be met by some in other countries who will use far more than angry words to express their revulsion... and innocent heterosexual Americans will suffer as a result.

Pity the American mother who has to hang a Gold... er... Pink Star in her window indicating that her boy wasn't killed in battle, he was murdered by someone feared her son wanted to spread homosexuality in their country.

"Charlie Airwing's War... and DADT":

Question is... will the Afghan's even allow our soldiers to remain in Afghanistan after Obama gets rid of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'? The Afghans don't think highly of other religions... so they sure as s**t ain't gonna like a bunch of US Army faggots on their turf... and very few other countries will want a faggot foreign army on their land. Most of our Allies are already having a hard enough time keeping their hungry daughters from becoming prostitutes for American soldiers. How will they react when our homosexual soldiers in their country have big money to buy sex with their hungry sons?

One of the major reasons why we mandated DADT was because our soldiers, if openly queer, would not be welcome in many foreign countries... even as 'liberators'. A lot of people in other countries will not want faggot Americans giving candy to their kids!

What the f**k happened in the Pentagon... did so many women and girly-men take over that building that now everyone has forgotten recent history??? Did stupidity suddenly enter into military planning???

"Charlie Airwing's War", con't:

The 7th Ed writer is 100% correct. The only reason why Obama is still pushing war in Afghanistan is because he made that commitment when he was running for president. But there is no way Obama can ever kill off every Taleban because Talebanism is not a people or person, it's a way of life. And if the non-Taleban's in Afghanistan won't fight the Taleban or stop them from taking control, that is their problem, not ours. Besides, if the Taleban wants to take control and return to killing off their females they will defeat themselves when without women giving birth their race will self-extinct.

Instead of sending American boys to Afghan to lose their only Johnson and his two round pals Jimmy and Jonesy to a machete, Obama should put together a new UN Resolution that makes it an international crime, punishable by execution, to sell weapons to Afghan's or buy drugs from them.

The 7th Ed writer is also correct about hitting the Afghan poppy fields from a height higher than any AAA weapon the Aghan's have. And we have satellites that can find any poppy field in that country so we don't need to insert DEA or UN or SF teams to find and paint them.

If we're going to fight the Afghans we should be doing it smarter. No nation has ever defeated the Afghans. Our silly arrogance in believing we will be the first is insane.

Obama needs to swallow a handful of thinking pills and stop trying to play Alexander the Great Jr because even Alex got his sorry a** kicked severely in Afghanistan and had to call it a day and claim victory only after the Afghan's allowed him to first pass through their country so long as he didn't make anymore attempts to own it. On his way back through Afghanistan Alex established four baby kingdoms in four safe areas of Afghanistan but they were in his name only... much like the current president, Karzai, really isn't the president of Afghanistan... Karzai is merely the president of Central Kabul. In other words, anyone can claim victory in Afghanistan but the only real turf they own is the soil directly under their feet.

Get smart, Mr. Obama, you won't win. And just because you lack the Y chromosomes in your Jimmy and Jonesy to make boy babies is no reason to expose other young men to needlessly and wastefully losing both their X and Y makers.

"Charlie Airwing's War":

Back when the Russkie's were exterminating peaceful and innocent Afghan's from the air in the 1980's our money paid for the AAA munitions that knocked Soviet fixed and mobile wing platforms out of the sky. The Afghans stopped dying and the Russkies turned tail and ran.

Now, today, it is our military that is exterminating Afghan elderly, women and children from the sky... except we are using mostly drones so that we don't have the pilot losses that the Russkies couldn't live with.

Now, also today, the Russkies are back on the scene. Russia has signed an agreement with us to help exterminate Afghans. And with no 'Charlie Wilson' in the US to supply the Afghan's with drone and pilot craft killing weapons what's the poor Afghan to do?

What he will do is use some of his massive narc wealth to start buying AAA and other weapons from independent arms dealers. He will also start grabbing American soldiers to use in bargaining to get our air stuff from flying against him...

I have not read any follow-up on our Afghan air sissies who want out of that country, but if I were them I would quit DEA and buy my own way outta that burg because it won't be long before the Afghans get really angry and stop playing tit-for-tat. It won't be long before the Afghans will start targeting every non-Afghan on the ground and every US air vehicle in the sky for death.

Yes... our military is doing to the Afghans exactly what 'Charlie Wilson' stopped the Russians from doing. But we are going to have it far worse than what the Russians got because our military family members will not like having their kidnapped kids returning home with their testicles hacked off.

We have already won the war in Afghanistan. We should pull our military out. We can always keep the Taleban and al-Queda from causing future problems simply by B-52ing their opium fields. No opium means no money to pay sophisticated terrorists who are smart enough to outwit the morons in our HSA.

I also agree with the 3rd Ed writer. Michele isn't a bad looking broad. She's okay. Women watching Michele on TV will be listening to what she's saying and looking at what she's wearing. Men watching Michele on TV will be listening to what she's saying and looking at her bust. The idea that female weight matters ended when women stopped being sold by the pound. Today, as always, most men live by the age-old philosophy: "I will take them 8 to 80, blind, cripple or crazy... as long as they're female."

We have many females in the agency who joined LE just to be around a lot of males, either for sex or to compete with. And even if you showered them in Lady Clairol and blowdryed them with Maybelline most of them would still be nowhere near being bathing beauties... yet all of them who aren't dykes still manage to cut any man they want, married or single, out of the herd.

Not only are there street cops in this country who have never heard the name Michele Leonhart, millions of Americans haven't heard of her. Being short and chunky doesn't require being invisible. Michele should stop being afraid and walk into the light... Besides... most real men will be looking at Michele's knockers... men don't really care about a woman's weight, they only care about her being female. (Although it may appear to the rest of the world that the men in our country are fagging out by the minute, we're not a totally queer country yet.)

"A Michele Millennium", con't:

Maybe if our camera-shy Acting Administrator wasn't so self-conscious about her looks she might do more TV time... such as use the current Jackson/prescription discussions to take a few public digs at doctors, parents and dealers who are putting/allowing prescription drugs into the hands of kids... now an epidemic.

Somebody needs to tell Michele that fat chicks are now accepted on TV... just ask Oprah.

"A Michele Millennium":

Very sadly, I have to agree with the 2nd Ed writer. Michele offers no hope of returning our agency to its once-great past when we alone 'dismantled' drug gangs. Have you seen the current headline on our dea.gov website... DEA needed the help of other agencies to take over a year to arrest a handful of yo-yos and a thimble of meth. Geeez! How much of their meth got on the street while we took a 'Michele Millennium' to finally make the arrest.

This person acting as our Administrator just can't seem to do anything faster than a snail. Just as S&L infusion adds months to any DEA investigation, female infusion adds more than needed time to anything a male can do in far less time.
