The Wheel of Time is an epic fantasy series by Robert Jordan. Originally intended to end in three books, the length of the Wheel of Time series grew along with its popularity. As some have criticised, even the most hardcore fans are baying for blood as the Wheel of Time has stretched indefinitely. Jordan's last statement for how many more Wheel of Time books he will write is, "At least three more." At the time of this interview, Robert Jordan had just finished his 9th book, Winter's Heart, which meant the series would stretch at least 12 books.
