DAVE EGGERS IS AS POPULAR AS AMISH-KIDS-IN-TROUBLE STORIES
That's what my e-mail feedback is showing. ("Mike the Headless Chicken" still has him topped, though.) You Eggers-heads should know the Dave appears Friday evening at Chicago's 57th St. Books. The Reader ad notes there's "limited seating" for his reading, though. Jon Katz will be at the same place next Tuesday; there's no capacity-crowd warning for him, so I guess you can stop by late . If you can't fly to Chicago on this short notice, feel free to listen to Eggers' Wednesday appearance on "Fresh Air."
