I'm a native of Austin, TX, until Nov 97 when I relocated to Modesto CA for a new job. I brought my 9 y.o. Siberian Husky, Kira, and my 15 y.o. Amazon double yellow parrot, Simone, with me. I know you won't be able to believe it, but I'm finally moved in. I closed and got the keys on Fri, Jul 16, 99, after a short 54 week 4 day construction period.

The kids are really excited, as I'm sure you would expect. They have been cooped up in a one-bedroom apartment since Mar 6 and will enjoy their freedom. Not to mention, that Dad will enjoy being able to open the door and let them out to take care of business without having to get the leash and walk them.

This is Kira, mildly timid and shy, yet very affectionate with a very soft coat.

Born Mar 11, 1989, she made her first airplane flight on AA on Nov 1, 1997, when we moved to Modesto. It took her a week to get used to apartment life during our temporary housing 6-week stay.

This is Chimo, 1/2 Samoyed and 1/2 Siberian Husky, very active and very loving.

Adopted on Jan 18, 1998, from the Sib Husky Rescue in Modesto, he took to his older sister immediately. Since he doesn't have a birth certificate, his b-day is Aug 31, 1996. Summer is a nice time for a birthday pool party!
