| Hi Alan!
Well, will wonders ever cease.... I just received my Flame Lamp! I can't tell you how delighted I am! The lamp is everything you claimed! I'm gonna put it in my fireplace and never deal with messy logs again! I'm on my way now to place feedback for you and then show all my friends and relatives! You be hearing from me again! |
Hello Alan, The lamp arrived this afternoon. I plugged it in and I thought well it looks better than any others I've seen but can't say it would make any body go for the fire extinguisher. Then I stepped about 10 ft back - and that is when the magic happened -- BREAK OUT THE MARSHMALLOWS!!! The only thing missing is the smoke!!! WOW!! Thank you so much Alan!! Good feedback has been left -- and thank you for yours!! Take care, |
Alan, my son loved the Flame Light. We all enjoyed watching it in action. He said it made him feel warmer ! L.L. |

Just a quick note to add to yer next listings ...these lamps kick ass in reptile ..or any rainforest type exibits..and are not dangerous to the critters as long as they are big enough to keep out of the fan part. Thanks in advance |
Cool Alan,
They are part of my master plan for my basement/Tiki bar/arcade room. I am in the middle of making now !!!!!!!..I can see them adding atmosphere !!!!!!!.. Thanks again |
I look forward to getting the light, we have a lighted Christmas parade and I plan on using the light on our fire department's float.
Thanks |
| Hi Alan!
Anyways I'm really excited about getting more of the lights in. I think I told you but the one I have gets soooo much attention it is funny. I have huge windows in the front of my bar on one of the busiest streets in town & people come in off the streets just to see the flame light! They will go great with my atmosphere too. Not your typical bar...kinda like a small night club. I put out over 50 candles a night to create a warm feeling & the flame light definately helps with my mission plus it looks awesome! Thanks again! |
I had to tell you that what started out as an experiment for a chuckle ended up turning out pretty neat. I sliced up some pieces of red, blue, and green gel and placed them over the lights (though none covered the lights completely) and I must say the effect was rather mesmerizing. lol
The hues are quite soft and not only does it add character but color and interest. I found myself staring at it in fascination. lol And, oddly enough, it really didn't make it seem completely unrealistic. It looked... a little mystical perhaps. You should try it some time if you happen to get your hands on some gels. ;-) A soft, glowing green danced on the edge of the flames, a hint of blue at the tips, the warmth of the red gave it a rosy hue. Rather captivating. |
Just wanted to let you know the lamp arrived today, and it is the cleanest burning "fire" I've ever seen, completely smokeless, and cold to the touch.
I can't wait to fool my friends by sticking my hand in and withdrawing it unscarred, lol. And this was in daylight, I am sure it is really going to be impressive tonight after dark. I'll let you know what I think later. |
| Alan: You were not kidding, these really are impressive in the dark. It was well worth the money, thats for sure. When I first heard about them I found a cheap version in a cauldron at a local party store and I was very disappointed in it, to the point that I returned it for a refund. The sad thing is it cost almost twice what this one did, not including the spare bulbs. The effect was very disappointing, the "flames" weren't bright and the color was wrong. They also flapped too much, this one is just right, some fast, some slow, and its intense enough and colored properly to really look real. Thank-you for a great sale. You can use my comment if you'd like, I'll probably be looking to purchase other items in the future. |
