Fishing Rods by Divine: Identifying A Divine Nut |
![]() |
| I was stung fiercely by the Divine collecting bug about 2 yrs. ago and have been suffering from Divine inspiration ever since. I love to fish, but being a computer programmer, dad, husband and guide dog trainer keeps me off the streams most days. To stay connected I collect Divines, 1st edition books, Miesselbach and Hardy fly reels and just about anything having to do with fly fishing from the 1920's or earlier. I also tie classic salmon flies, and build and restore bamboo rods. Needless to say, this whole thing drives my wife nuts, but she puts up with it. Bless her soul. | |
On the Kootenai in Montana. Caught him on a Divine rod built in 1920. |

| So if you want to talk tackle, in particular Divines, please drop me a line. There are only a few collectors demented enough to concentrate on Divines. I've managed to learn a fair amount about these old rods and would be happy to assist in any way I can. Just don't ask me to sell any! |
