A Divine Nut
For Sale or Trade
I was stung fiercely by the Divine collecting bug about 2 yrs. ago and have been suffering from Divine inspiration ever since.  I love to fish, but being a computer programmer, dad, husband and guide dog trainer keeps me off the streams most days.  To stay connected I collect Divines, 1st edition books, Miesselbach and Hardy fly reels and just about anything having to do with fly fishing from the 1920's or earlier.  I also tie classic salmon flies, and build and restore bamboo rods.  Needless to say, this whole thing drives my wife nuts, but she puts up with it. Bless her soul.
Kootenai Rainbow
On the Kootenai in Montana.  Caught him on a Divine rod built in 1920.
So if you want to talk tackle, in particular Divines, please drop me a line.  There are only a few collectors demented enough to concentrate on Divines.  I've managed to learn a fair amount about these old rods and would be happy to assist in any way I can.  Just don't ask me to sell any!
