Hendryx 80 yd.  Nice reddish patina.   1876 and 1888 patent dates.  Foot is a little bent and the frame a little loose.  These simple reels were everyman's reel.  They look great on antique display rods.  A7M5

Laurentian No. 1  Canadian made single action reel.  Heavily constructed.  This reel has seen some action.  Paint about 80%, spool is a little loose on the spindle, and the handle screw has been replaced, but is too large, so the handle doesn't turn.  A6M6

Unmarked Brass Works perfectly.   Classic looks.  Has been polished at some point, but is now starting to take on a patina again.  This is an old reel, probably 19th century.  Note the very simple flat foot, and the sideplates extend below the foot.  Has a fixed click that works perfectly in one direction, but not the other...was it made that way? Side plates are 2.5" across.  A8M8
