I won't be voting Democratic in 2000, nor for you when you're up next. What a sorry bunch in Washington. I've voted Democratic for 40 years, even when I had to hold my nose. But not this time. You creeps have finally gone over the edge with the bombing of Yugoslavia in the name of some mad idea about stopping ethnic cleansing and Milosevic. You've only egged him on and unleashed the slaughter and forced exile, which many predicted before it all started. We elect you to use at least a modicum of good judgment, and what do we get?, raw stupidity.

Don't be surprised if there's a serious terrorist "strike" engendered by the bombing. Such a terrible act is now predictable. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear the worst. The U.S. is going around the world country-by-country and pissing them off, and sooner or later someone or group in one of these countries is going to strike back. Then you can add the damage to the insanity of Waco, OK City, the World Trade Center, etc.

We could win the hearts and minds of the nations of the world with peaceful actions, humanitarian help, and economic policies that both make sense for poorer countries and help them pull themselves up. But that would take government action, planning, controls, and intervention. Instead we're at the mercy of the global bond and stock vigilantes, who care about nothing but low inflation and rising revenue and earnings. We're being governed by the greedy few, who are nothing more than fascists, and barely even in disguise. They're promoting the New World (Fascist) Order, and they're succeeding.

The Dems are doing nothing to counter the president's madness. And to think that only a couple of months back I was supporting him in his so-called trial. You should have convicted the bum and sent him packing -- I now say with hindsight.
