KEITH L. WATSON (a. k. a. THE JAZZ DOCTOR)

Keith Watson currently produces and hosts the very popular "Jazz Show", and hour long live show featuring local, national and international artists which embodies the versatility of jazz music.  Keith also produces and host, "The Maxwell Street Blues Hour", a sassy, spirited and electric show which airs the last Saturday of each month.  These shows serve as a vehicle to keep to of the most fulfilling, rich, creative and original art forms alive.  The great pianist Ahmad Jamal recently quoted, "I'm a wordless storyteller, someone who cares about the dynamics of music because musical dynamics are human dynamics".  That is such a powerful and true statement that applies to Jazz and Blues alike.  Keith is a native Chicagoan, a retire Marine, and currently serves as a Director at one of the local colleges in the Los Angeles area.  Keith's love for Jazz and Blues combined with his passion to help others has created a platform where he can contribute to the efforts of conserving these two American treasures.  It brings him great pleasure to introduce his favorite music to others, and to allow new unreleased artists, and known favorites to showcase their talents and music live around the world.
