lately i've been telling everyone about:
so visit any and all of these sites and do what you can!
i'm posting this letter so you'll respond to it and offer me suggestions on how to improve it. i want it to be more questioning and less telling..something to guide the reader to these conclusions and make the reader think that they thought of it.

My friends, we are living in a very critical point in human evolution. It is time for us to cease our war on nature and begin living in harmony. Let us consciously evolve humanity. Humans have the most potential for creativity; unfortunately this has been both a bane and a boon. We have created a endless growth system dependant on the exlpoitation of people and destruction of entire ecosystems. If this continues we will consume the very life force that has sustained us for so long. .
Humans lived in harmony with nature for 4 million years. But 10,000 years ago a group of people decided that humans were meant to conquer nature rather that worship it. This is the real story of Genesis. The fall from grace is the break from nature. The knowledge we gained from the apple is the technology we use to manipulate nature. No Christian ever even considers returning to God's garden. Instead we are all content with being born into sin, or born into modern civilization. This world is evolving to nothing more than a consumer culture. Everyone is bent on aquiring more and more possesions. Returning to grace is a easy as pickin fruit from a tree. It is very simple and obvious: we need to rekindle our bond with mother nature and live naturally and wildly.
Therefore, let us leave behind all this pain and suffering and take as many people as we can with us. Alternatives to the unsustainable path of getting a job are rarely offered. Living wildly and naturally requires far less work than your average 9-5. I have lived on an organic farm and I only worked for three to six hours a day. The work was very easy and fun. I wouldn't really consider it work. Hunter-gatheres work even less. They average 5-20 hours a week and have weeks and months where they don't work at all. Anyone can make the decision not to participate in our consumptive culture and join the healers, the children of the earth, the members of the Love Tribe.
All one need do is visit WWOOF international. This site provides information on how to get hooked up with farms in almost any country in the world. Seriously consider whether you want to work a 9-5 or chill out on a farm and make exercise your work and your work your play. Of course, no one wants to just drop their life and start anew; hence I recommend that you take the next year of school off, or the next year of work and travel among some farms and at least try an alternative lifestyle. What have you got to lose? And think of what you might gain.
How about getting paid to learn how to garden organically? check out ATTRA-appropriate technology transfer for rural areas. they'll hook you up with a huge list of organic farms in any state and parts of canada.
Please forward this message to everyone you can. The more this message is circulated, the greater the awareness of an alternate path. I envision this message spreading like a chain letter, except you get good luck for life and an infectious desire to quit your job or drop out of school and let others know about this great alternative path.
Cheers,
joey
