Distance Learning is not for everyone. You must have access to the Internet and e-mail as well as how to use them. If you do not have these services at home, they are available free in the Los Angeles Harbor College Computer Lab. located in the Learning Assistance Center and the college Library. Your local library may also have internet connection.
In order to do well in the course, you must be self-motivated and follow a study schedule consistently. It is important to keep up with the reading and do the homework assignment diligently. If you do not understand an accounting concepts or assignment, ask for assistance and clarification. You can use the discussion board on the Etudes accounting website to post your question or topic for discussion. You can also set up a time to chat with other students in the chat room. The discussion board and the chat room are for students to use.
