| Chris, Really enjoyed the pics of your Whitney climb. They are certainly among the best that I have seen. Curious to know the setting/location of the two pictures showing stream/meadow/mountain, previous to the parting shot of Half Dome? Also, was it wind (or worse) that kept you from the Shasta summit? | Hi Mike, those last few pictures were taken in Yosemite as we came back over Tioga pass. The main reason we turned around last year on Shasta was the low (20 - 30 ft) visability which would have made for an unsafe descent. We went back the weekend after Whitney and made the summit.
