If you would like to volunteer your time, just show up and pitch in. Below are details:
We cook on Sundays fom 10am-1pm If you would like
to help with food preparation, please contact us at 916-443-6861, sactofoodnotbombs@yahoo.com
After the food is prepared it is transported to Cesar
Chavez plaza (10th & J). We serve at the park on
sundays from 1:30-3:00. If you would just like to help
serve, you can just show up at the park.
After serving we return to
clean up from 3:30pm - 5 or 6pm.
If you are able to bike to FNB it is encouraged, as most weeks everything is
transported via bike trailer.
Other volunteer opportunities include, food
donation pickups, soliciting food donations [farmers markets are great
opportunities for on the spot requests for donations],
community outreach [distributing fliers, etc], and
fundraising [tabling is the easiest form of
fundraising].
