Folk Music of England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and America This is an amazing site with lyrics and tunes. It plays the music while you read the lyrics. They have a good selection of Child Ballads, Sea Chanteys and more.

Radio Programs and Music Downloads

Tradtunes.com offers Celtic and Roots music downloads for purchase. Like Itunes you can listen to 30 seconds of each track They also have a radio show of full tracks of selected artists that is updated weekly.

Celtic Melt is a very nice celtic music program on Live365.com. You can find it listed on Itunes under Americana for some reason. Live365.com is a huge network of internet radio stations. You can also create your own radio show on their network for a fee.

Itunes is Apples online music store and music player interface. The streaming radio stations are easy to access.

Clare FM - Traditional music from Ireland

Magnatune.com lets you listen to full length albums and tracks before purchasing and downloading. They have some great stuff in their world music genre.

Lineonline.org Juliana Harris has created this online folk and fine arts journal to highlight Fresno's local artists, musicians, and writers.

Folkworks is a newspaper dedicated to promoting Folk Music, Dance, Storytelling, and other folk arts in the greater Los Angeles area. Published bi-monthly it is available as a PDF file download. You can also download just the Special Events Calendar page.
