  • Autumn is the season of sharing of the harvest.  The building of reserves for winter.  Take advantage of the foods of fall to put on the reserves for winter.  Especially the yellow hard squashes.  Exercise should be moderating from summer's high to a maintenance point.  Sexuality should be doing like wise with the building of winter's nest. The weather changes from heat to cold with the drying effects of Autumn.  Watch those colds and lung issues that hit now and see that they are cleared up before winter. 

    Any time that you have digestive upset, you can use the diet for the late summer.  This diet is a return to the central foundation of food and digestive action. 

    • August 8 – November 7 
    • Lungs/Large Intestine 
    • Baked, sautéed, slow cook 
    • Eat solid vegetables 
    • Eat sour vegetables 
    • Eat sour and bitter foods 
    • Pear juice, esp. Asian Pears 
    • Drink Mai Men Dong (Creeping Lily Tuber) tea 
    • Eat cultured foods/Cooked foods
