    What is Health?
    Oriental Medicine has a definition of Health.  This page lays out a basic take on that definition.
    The Three Treasures
    Vitality, Energy and Spirit are the three treasures of Chinese Medicine.  Vitality gives us our body.  Energy allows us to run it.  And Spirit is us.

    History of Chinese Medicine
    Chinese Medicine is the oldest organized medicine on Earth.  This section details some of that history
    Chinese Thought & Philosophy
    To understand Chinese and Oriental Medicine, we must look at the thoughts that brought it about and how that thinking influences everyday life.
    Daoism
    The concept of flow between opposites define the basis of both Daoism and Chinese Medicine. When flow stop, pain results.
    Yi Jing
    Change is the only permanent feature of the universe.  Chinese culture has created a tale of change that brings great wisdom to the dynamics of life.
    Martial Philosophy
    Fighting a disease is like fighting a war.  To harsh a fight and the patient dies.  Too little, the disease lives.
    Oriental vs. Western Medicine
    There are differences between eastern and western medicine.  Not only in terms of the language they use, but the way they view health and how they can affect it.
    Pin Yin
    As the world gets smaller, it behooves up to speak a common language.  PinYin is the system closest to the actual sound of Chinese.  As more and more literature is translated into English,  Pin Yin is becoming more widely accepted.  This page provides a list of common words that are in English, but use older system.
