  • Today's world requires a faster pace than people have had to experience.  Western medicine helps us  when we are sick - sickness care.  What is needed today is something to keep us well as we age and progress through life. Paradoxically, what may help us the most is Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Paradoxically because Traditional Chinese Medicine has a written history of at least 2,400 years.

Unlike Western Medicine, Traditional Oriental Medicine has a definition for good health.  This definition is what most of us would like our lives to be as we age.  Many of the practices of Daoism (Taoism) help one to keep the edge that we had when we were young.  Traditional Oriental Medicine has expanded on these practices to find better ways to keep health a manageable option.  We do not need to suffer the ravages that our parents have suffered.  Indeed, many of these conditions are preventable and treatable without surgery and health challenging medications.  Good diet, moderate appropriate exercise, proper activity and attitude are the foundation of all health.

This web site is concerned with providing information on what Traditional Oriental Medicine and Daoist practices can do for ensuring wellness as we age.  These pages are based on what I have learned as a practicitioner of Daoist thought and practices.

There are many conditions that are effectively treated by Traditional Oriental Medicine. There are several common conditions that Oriental Medicine treats very successfully include Sports Injuries, Colds, Headaches, Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, Arthritis, PMS, Menstrual Cramps, Sciatica, Neck/Back Pain, Allergies, Impotence, and Weight Loss .

Oriental Medicine also provides several general quality of life benefits including Increased Vitality and Energy, Stress Reduction, Regulated Blood Pressure, Enhanced Athletic Performance, Pain Control, and Immune System Modulation.
