The above tanker and its entire crew of *39, under Skipper, Captain J. V. Fanning (Insert), vanished in the area known as the Bermuda Triangle in 1963. This is the list of the SS Marine Sulphur Queen missing crew. My Dad was one of the crew members. Please let me know if you are a survivor of any of these men, or if you know of any survivors.
You can send e-mail by clicking on the envelope. A special thank you to all who have contacted me: crew family members and friends, divers, journalists, and other parties interested in this loss and/or the Bermuda Triangle subject. R. L. Procter, nephew of Adam Martin, Jr., provided a National Maritime Union news article containing photos of some of the crew members, as well as the original 11 Feb. 1963 Houston Chronicle that contains the above photo. (U.P.I. Telephoto) I am in the process of placing those photos into an online photo album. These photos are also linked to the names below. The resulting images are far from perfect due to the age of the document. But it is nice to be able to recall the faces of these loved ones.
