Valkiri
(Javelin by Farlo x Valenta)
1980 mare
It's hard to belive she's been around twenty years. I saw her
born and I broke her to ride. I've shown her in various shows and
classes from western to English to costume to dressage. She is a
champion at Country English Pleasure and a reserve champion in western
and native costume. Mostly, she has been my friend and companion
through the years. Valkiri was injured in 1996 and I thought I would
never ride her much again. In 1999, we finished a 30 mile distance
ride! Pretty good for an old lady! (And the horse too.)

'Shawn'
(GA Topaz by Galan x Valkiri)
1997 gelding
Shawn is my future bred from the past. He is out of my much loved
Valkiri and by the CMK stallion, GA Topaz. I am looking forward to
many years of adventures including hills and arenas. He is bred to
be an English-style horse. Like his mother, he will undoubtedly carry
a native costume as well as competing in Country English pleasure.
He may even take me on longer distance rides as he has a smooth, flowing
gait that should be a true pleasure to ride.

Burningbright
(Fire Shadow x Valenta)
1988 mare
'BB' has been a wonderful companion on the arena and trails.
She has won most of the training level dressage classes when I showed her.
We also finished a 25 mile distance ride in 1997.
'BB' is co-owned with my sister Debra. The bay filly in the photo is
by Country Style (Country Heir by *Bask x Beylenta by Bay El Bey).
