This is a novel about the history of China from 184 AD to 280 AD. It was written in about 1364 AD, and was based on the official history "The Book of the Three Kingdoms", and many popular legends.
This part of the history of China involved many famous battles, including the battle of Guandu, the battle of Chibi (Red Cliff), etc. The novel described the wars not only as events but also included many political and personal aspects of the war. The motivation of my posting this is to share this book with the western lovers of war history, and next time when I see someone discussing "the greatest campaigner" I'd like to see some names from this book. :-)
I'm only attempting to tell the story here. This is by no means a precise translation of the book.
