  Decal Position - 928S

Where is the spec position for the "928S" decal on the rear panel of car? 86.5

Centered horizontally about 54.785 mm below the Porsche.....at least that's where it is on my "factory" rear-end.....the cars that is.....al though I've been toying with the idea of a tattoo........ ;]

The only mention I see of decals in the manuals are for the Club Sport stickers.

When the decals were available from Porsche (they have been discontinued recently), they came on a transfer sheet that had a notch on the top side and a specific distance from the top edge of the transfer sheet to the top of the letters.

The notch was used to align the decal properly by aligning the vertical part of the notch on the lower left outside edge of the "S" in Porsche to get the proper side to side distance. To get the proper height all you do is align the top edge of the transfer sheet with the bottom of the "PORSCHE" letters on the bumper cover.
