PaintPre-wax Routine
After washing, I would start with a pre-wax cleaner (removes gunk and water
spots), followed by a glaze (gets rid of swirl marks, light scratches, and
"polishes" the paint, and finally, a coat of wax to protect the
polished finish. Don't make any plans this day!
You should probably do this routine every month or two. Also, I keep a bottle
of Meguiar's Quick Detailer spray and a rag in the car for birdsh*t, etc. BTW,
do birds enjoy releasing their payload on Porsches, or just black cars in
general? Hope that helps, gotta go mount the scarecrow to the rear wing now.
