Excellent. The most extensive collection of 928 listings in the U.S. Many ads
carry photos. On the downside, their ads are not dated.
[Cars.com - Used Cars for Sale] - Many listings culled from
newspapers across the U.S. Almost no pictures and ad content is in the
typically brief newspaper classifieds style.
[Excite Vehicles Classifieds] - A large database of excellent
listings. Not as big as Auto Trader and about half the photo content, but still
a great resource.
[Hemmings Motor News]- Difficult to navigate, but some good
928 listings can be coaxed out of it. Perhaps a good place to find a GTS or GT
rather than that '78 beater that "just needs some TLC."
[Microsoft Carpoint] -
Barely enough listings to be useful, thus I list it here.
[Porsche
Classifieds Digest] - An heroic web programming feat that periodically
compiles the listings of The Recycler (Limited to Western U.S.), The Luxury Car
Network (not recommended), Auto Trader (excellent) and World Wide Wheels (few
listings). The benefit? The layout can help you rapidly sort through a large
number of listings. It's a great effort, but unless more sites are added, you
may do just as well by going directly to the Recycler and Auto Trader and
ignoring the rest.
[The
Recycler] - Limited to the Western U.S., this may be the place to find a
"California car"
[Rennlist - Cars For Sale] -
Few listings, but may be where you'll find that "enthusiast-owned"
car.
[Yahoo Classifieds- Porsche 928 Search] - A good group of
listings, but not nearly as big as Excite or AutoTrader. Includes a powerful
sort function.
[928 Wingho Spyder] -
A Canadian firm birthed this impressive prototype and other interesting
one-offs.
[928 Spyder Conversion
by Sypderwerks] - Based on an S4, you can buy this clean conversion today -
