At the waterfall, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, south of Big Sur, California, October 98

I'm told this is the only ocean waterfall on the US Pacific coast.
I am an old roadie, with nearly 30 years of pedaling behind me.  There is nothing like riding from horizon to horizon.
I first got hooked on distance cycling at age 15, on a wet, rainy trip to Oceanside from Westchester, near LAX. Equipment was a Raleigh Record, which I crashed in Newport Beach.
Since then, I've toured multi-day on three continents, both supported and self-contained, with equipment ranging from tennis shoes to carbon fiber. Remember leg lights? Leather helmets?
This section of my site is just a personal photo gallery.
