Aloha all past, present and future Pale Kai paddlers!

We are about to begin our 2006 season. At the March 21 club meeting,
we finally voted on a new club logo and new racing jerseys. We will be
wearing very cool purple shirts with bold yellow lettering. They will
be ordered from Paddle Me Sportswear - a light-weight, quick-drying,
moisture-wicking fabric - available in men's and women's cuts in long
sleeve, short sleeve or sleeveless styles - sizes small thru XL. I
don't have a final price for them - it will depend on shipping, tax,
and screen printing costs, which I won't know until I have a final
count on quantity - but I think they will cost around $24 - $26 each.
Payment will be due upon receiving your jerseys. Please remember that
SCORA requires each crew in each club to race in matching jerseys. The
sleeve styles can vary as long as they are all the same color with the
same logo. SCORA enforces this rule by fining clubs that don't abide -
we were fined last year - and we don't want that to happen this year.

Even if you're not sure you will be racing this season, I encourage
you to order a jersey, as we don't necessarily make jersey orders
every season. We will order a small surplus of men's and women's short
sleeve jerseys only, but if you'd like a long sleeve or sleeveless,
you must put a request in now. We hope to have this new logo and color
for many seasons to come.

Please e-mail me, or call my home phone to place your jersey order by
Sunday March 26. I will place the order on Monday March 27, then Mike
& I will be out of town until Sun. 4/2. It will take 4 - 5 weeks from
date of order to receiving them, and I want to make sure we have them
before the first race. Please specify:

1. Men's or Women cut?
2. Short Sleeve? Long Sleeve? Sleeveless?
3. Size? Small, Med, Lg, XL?
4. How many?

If you placed your order on the sign up sheet at the meeting - Thank
You - I will take your request from there.
