Meeting Frequency
We will have 4 club meetings this year: January, March, Summer, and the last next September.

Board Members
Board Members will remain the same this year.

SCORA Meetings
Hugh and Denny will attend the Dec. 4th SCORA Meeting. Under discussion will be the issue of mandatory use of Bradleys for Masters+ races.

Dues
Will remain the same as last year: $275. There was discussion of reducing rates to $200, but it was decided that since insurance for towing the trailer will be expensive, we should not reduce dues this year.

Coaching/Crew Selection
Will be occur in Spring 2005.

New Boats
Discussion about buying new canoes wil be postponed until the upcoming SCORA vote on whether or not Bradlies must be used for Masters+ races. There was discussion about the amount of space under the canoe tent, and possibly selling a clipper to buy a bradley, possibly buying a bradley from Sunny Bradley in Hawaii. There was also discussion about the junior outrigger program, a possible grant to buy more canoes, discussion if more than 5 boats are needed, and the safety of getting that many kids and boats in and out through the surf.

New Amas
The club may buy 1 or 2 more amas at $1000 each (Bixler or Puffy).

Repair Bradley
Discussion about investing $3500 to repair our Bradley. Repair would include stiffening the boat. It was decided to check the bradley at the work party and then decide if it should be repaired.

Equipment
Brian LaCabe was voted the new Equipment Manager.
Brian will take care of graphite for the dollies, checking if 6 new steering blades have been ordered, and installing washers to raise the seats in the clippers so that they tilt down in the front
Denise (and Brian) will look into seat pads for the canoes.
Heather and Sara will take the sanded amas home and varnish them. They'll also provide sand paper for the September 26th work party.
Tom Owen will take the trailer in to have the bearings packed, a wheel welded to the front. Scott Bixler will help with the shaping and repadding of the saddles. Mike Nunno will repaint it.
Club will purchase 10'x20' tent from Costco for the 1-man canoes. These canoes are for use by the Junior outrigger program and should not be taken out by club members.
Mike Shandroff will check with Dave to see if he will fix the dings in our canoes.
Hugh will discuss installing self-bailers with Vaughn. Someone will get the club's sole self-bailer from Lon.

Race
No one volunteered to be the point contact for putting together an outrigger in Avila the next two years. Deadline for submission to SCORA was 9/17/2004.
