Japanese Friendship Garden Senter Rd San Jose, Ca: This lovely scene was taken in the Japanese Tea Garden.This is a city of San Jose Park .It has lots of koi fish, ducks, humming birds

There are scenic trails,a smal amphitheater,a tea house,shady benches, a water fall and of course well anicured lawns,flowers and even lilly pads.

Adjacent to this park is "Happy Hollow Park and Baby Zoo".I have been going to this place since I was in 1st grade at St. Pats Cathedral here in downtown San Jose in the 70's.It has a petting zoo, small rides for toddlers, pic nic area and at last visit a bear, a few seals , parrots and a lama .I thnk I saw a leopard or a Jaguar? not sure... any way this place is really crowded on week ends. I went today and it was very peaceful on a sunny tuesday afternoon.
Next week there will be more photos of Hakone Gardens, Point Lobos,(Carmel not San Jose) ,and maybe Prusch Farm. Have to go I had a bad alergic,reaction to puling weed s today thanks for stopping by!
