Height of room may help give the great sound.

Seas-Front-Close-1831.jpg (24962 bytes)

Phoenix Main Panel with Seas Millennium Tweeter and Seas W22EX001 8".   Prototype cabinets use Birch shop grade plywood.  Final cabinets will be Oak.  Front side edges were NOT beveled as specified by Linkwitz design.  Diffraction affects are greater than they should be so next cabinet will have the edges beveled or rounded.

Phoenix Main Panel with Scan-Speak D2905/9700 Tweeter and S-S 21W/8554 8" - the original Phoenix design.

Seas-Back-1837.jpg (26310 bytes)

Back of Phoenix Main Panel with Seas Drivers.  Radio Shack connection terminals were used.  Siegfried Linkwitz indicates the baskets on the Seas drivers are good enough to NOT require the back spine.  They can be front mounted and will be in the final Oak version coming...

Peerless-DipoleWoofer-1819.jpg (25615 bytes)

Dipole Woofer with 2 - 12" Peerless 830500's.  May try a prototype of the H form before final cabinet is made in Oak.  See http://www.linkwitzlab.com/proto.htm#PW1   .  The H form cabinet could be used as a base for the main panel thereby reducing the floorspace requirement.  Also by reducing the depth, it can be used with crossovers up to 150Hz.  Airflow pathways look a little cleaner on the H form cabinet but I'm told it vibrates more due to lack of force cancellation.
