Since I'm in outside sales and require a car for business, I need to keep one 4-door sedan in the stable. The current biz sedan / daily driver is this 1994 Infiniti Q45t. I wanted a fairly large 4-door sedan with a V8 and rear wheel drive configuration because I was so sick of owning and driving front wheel drive sedans!! I really wanted a BMW 540i, but couldn't quite stomach how much the 1997 models were going for back in 1998 when I was looking for a car. I found the Q45 was a real bargain in the full-sized luxury / sporting sedan market so I picked up a nice one owner example with only 28K miles on it for ~40% of the original MSRP making it quite a bargain. The engine is a 4.5L 32 valve V8 that is silky smooth and pumps out a respectable 278hp and 292lb-ft and it revs up to 6800rpm!! I have added a Stillen air intake system (claimed 10hp gain, I dunno) and Eibach pro-kit lowering springs along with the OZ Monte Carlo 16x8" wheels and 245-50-16 tires (currently Pirelli P7000 SuperSports).
