Cindy, Dennis, and Evan

Out with the t-sizes!

In with Poverty!

Evan has now reached the point in his growth curve where clothes sizes preceded with the dreaded 'T' (for toddler, or maybe transitional, or perhaps trouble finding the right size!) are no longer appropriate.

His clothing needs are atypical, as is his outgoing personality.  At this age, most children cling to their parents like polyester slacks fresh out of the dryer.  Not Evan...he's out there amongst 'em, having full conversations with total strangers.  The 'Shy Gene' is completely missing from his DNA.   Hmmm...thought he would have inherited that one.

Anyway, he used to wear T4 pants and shirts.  If anyone knows where to find T5 clothing, please write!  To this date, I have not found any such size, nor have I found any meaningful information on the whole T-size phenomenon.

I have deduced, from what's available for purchase at our local stores, that T4 transitions to a boys size 4, except when it comes to fitting Evan.  T4 is too small, size 4 is too big.  There seems to be no in-between, unless this is a common problem and I'm just too late at the sale rack.  Maybe there ARE in-between sizes and they're all sold out!  Maybe we're just doomed to put Evan in clothes that he'll "need to grow into".  At this rate, they'll fit properly when his SAT scores are mailed.

It seems the price for T-sizes are artificially deflated as well.  As soon as there's no 'T' in the size, the price goes up exponentially.  Ahh, that's it!  The 'T' represents 'Tax Bracket', 'cause I'll need to be in a higher one to afford clothes without the T!

WELCOME

EVAN IN HIS NATURAL HABITATIts posted all over the store, "don't leave your child in the shopping cart, place them in the seat".  But as parents, we know sometimes it's the only effective way to keep the cherubs under control, especially choco-faced cherubs on a high-fructose corn syrup bender.  Besides, he just loses control when he sees that much red in one store, sorta like the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.  Run, Evan, Run!

I know its an old picture, but its still one of my favorites.
