Dental Light
One of the biggest problems in turning and aging is
getting enough light to work safely and accurately. A 500w halogen
work-light provides great illumination, however the fire danger is not worth
the lums! Therefore, I've been hunting for an operating room light or
dental lamp. I finally found one but had to figure out how to mount it
in a small studio space. Here's my solution.
Got a dental light from Craigs List. This is a older Pelton & Crane model. The features of a dental light are the movement and extension. I designed a swivel joint welded onto a steel plate that is bolded to the wall.
