This vacuum chuck is designed from the Oneway plans, Brad Adam's design & on-the-spot

adaptations.  Parts were purchased from McMaster, Harbor Freight & Ace Hardware,

however there are many other available resources.

Vacuum Chucking System

Vacuum gauge assembly (parts as follows). 

The tool rest banjo is used as the holder for the gauge assembly.  A one-inch post turned from some hardwood was epoxied into the plywood.  The flange was used to secure the gauge assembly to the plywood.   For details and pictures, click here.
