Current Work: this
gallery represents a few of the pieces of my work. Each is a unique turning from trees of
Benicia and surrounding areas. After the trees are felled, I rescue
the wood from the chipper and bring it to the studio, where it is prepared
for turning. Check out
the 'Process' link for a pictorial demonstration of the process from log
to lathe.
Most of these pieces are
distinguished by either outstanding wood features and/or surface
embellishments. This work includes both decorative artistic
pieces
and utilitarian turnings.
