Brook-Wallace
Carolyn Brook and Richard V. Wallace are engaged to be marry April 8, 2000 at the First United Methodist Church in Santa Cruz.

Carolyn is the daughter of Albert John Kasper of Santa Cruz and the late Dorothy Blanche Kasper. She graduated from Cabrillo College in 1967 , from Northern Illinois University in 1969 and from the University of Santa Clara School of Law in 1980.  She began teaching in the Scotts Valley Unified School District in 1969 and presently works for the district doing technology, web page design and science. She is a member of the Santa Cruz Gem and mineral Society and the National Science Teachers Association.

Richard is the son of Ruth and Donn Wallace of Santa Cruz. He graduated from Soquel High School in 1968, served four years in the U.S. Navy, and graduated from Cabrillo College in 1974. He began working for Pacific Bell in May 1975 and works for the company in Santa Cruz County as a lineman and cable splicer.
