Here's the DC series wound propulsion motor. It's made by Bulkan Motor Car in Bulgaria and is called a Kostov. It's a 30hp continuous and around 200hp peak motor. It's voltage rating is 144V but can and has been operated much higher. The very last drive of the Ranger as an ICE vehicle was to Hangar 20 in Alemeda to pick up the Kostov. It's next trip was powered by the Kostov! Notice the sea of Yellow Tops in the corner of my shop.
