"Kingston" was part of a multi-champion litter whelped on 11/12/92. After finishing quickly he started making his presence known in the Specials ring. Always owner handled he constantly went up against the "Top Dogs" on the West coast and made a good account of himself. King retired from active competition with a Group placement in October of 1996. On January 30, 2000 King shown as a Veteran dog, a dog who is over 7 years old, came out of retirement and won the Miniature Schnauzer Club Of Southern California's Winter Specialty, defeating 4 other Champions. King is the 4th Fairwind dog to win a Specialty BIS.
One of his greatest attributes is his "Rock Hard" coat. He has been in a "rolled" coat since he was 6 months old and is still in coat. He is dominant for his texture and color. His spirit is lively and never backs down from a challenge. He has passed all of these qualities down to his off-spring including Ch Barjerdan's Wild Thing andCh Barjerdan's Hi Plains Drifter.
