Basic Geologic Relations

The Initial Maps of the Ocean Floor by the Lammont Geological Observatory in the late 1950's and published by the

Geological Society of America in the early 1960's sensed the elements of motion between land masses. This led

to the roots of ideas that became the basis for Plate Tectonics.
