My picture(s) of the Week for This Month
Note change Oct.'07!
This is a photo I saw somewhere. It said it
was the Cache Creek Bridge taken in 1910 by Mrs. Haycock. I don't know
which Mrs. Haycock or where the bridge was {or why they were there]. Anybody
have any ideas??
Cousin Steve said he saw a similar bridge at the
head of Indian Valley. We looked at the map and the Bartlett
Mountain Road crosses Cache Creek at the head of Indian Valley east of
Bartlett Springs. At the time, this was the main road out of Lake
County to the east and started from downtown Upper Lake where some of
the Haycocks lived.
