A year or so after the GTR was introduced, Bridgestone produced a street-scrambler variant called the "GTO". It was a beautiful looking bike, but seems a bit of a joke as a dirt bike, in retrospective. However, all the makers had similar entries in this class: Yamaha's YR2C; Kawasaki's A7SS; Honda's CL450, and; Suzuki's "Loredo" 305. All whales, harpooned by the growing class of "enduro" dirt bikes. This bike was mechanically restored by friend Scott Brown and cosmetically by me.
