Bob Williams'
'91 200 (he rode home to
Georgia in a new Red S4, so he didn't do too badly)
|

My instructor, Larry Weinstein in
his Acura, even if it's not quite up the style of his
old Lotus Elan
|

Phil Smith's
Porsche 993, a truly awesome
vehicle, and a hoot to ride in (but then, so too are his
MGs)
|

Dallas Smith's
Coupe Quattro, soon to be
joined by a 10v Turbo Coupe Q
|

Kathleen Stoeckel's
A4 12v, equipped by Todd Candey
of Vortrag Motorsports
|

Mike Fisher's
V8Q 5-speed, an impressively
effective track machine, given it weighs 4,000lb
|

Francois Faloppa's Ford Contour SVT Note the subtle
rear wing. No I'm not kidding, it is subtle,
relative to the one on his old S2
|

The hole I blew in the intercooler hose...
fortunately, there were mechanics there from Fred Baker
Audi who fixed it back up
|

Mike Margelefsky's
A6Q, a very refined car, and a
driver who's a lot of fun at these events. I vote for
finding an event near New Orleans...
|

Chuck Price and his
Porsche 911. Chuck's 911 was
definitely the class of the field in our run group, at
least until it started to rain :-)
|

Me, with my
S4. After I got my lines sorted
out, I was impressed at how well the S4 hustled through
the turns at Mid-Ohio (even ignoring the 125mph straight)
|

The Skid-car Lots and lots
of fun, as the instructor incrementally raises the wheels
so that you have no traction on a given wheel or
an axle, or the whole car
|

Craig Bresof's
A4 1.8TQ. Craig's A4 did very
well, and unlike his instructor's car, he still had a
working turbo at the end of the meet...
|

An S4 at speed. As Chuck and I are always in the same
run-groups, we never get to see his 911 or his S6 or my S4
running on the track...
|

Evan Margelefsky in Mike's A6Q. Mike was distinctly
brave in letting someone else track his A6... but then,
he let me drive it too!
