Modifications

For some reason, I haven't been able to test this one yet. Anyway, thanks to the instructions at Ned Ritchie's Intended Acceleration site (another great Audi tuner), the cars theoretical maximum speed has gone from 130mph to somewhere above 150.

Death to Servotronic

A minor one, but valuable. Servotronic steering (a sort of speed-sensitive, overboosted power steering) can be disabled on these cars, giving a heavier but more communicative feel to the car's steering. Essentially, all you have to do is yank out a power connector hooked to the steering rack, and "bingo" the car's steering is immensely improved.
