Tennis Stuff

I'm an avid tennis player. I have collected numerous tennis items over the years since I was introduced to tennis. I am sort of a pack rat, and I dislike to sell any of my tennis items I have collected.

Some of the racquets I have collected, have been sought out by tennis collectors and players alike. So I guess it was wise of me to keep them as they may hold in value in the future. My main tennis racquet I enjoy using is the Prince Original Graphite mid plus. The Prince POG has been around for over 25 years, and Prince still to this day, Feb 17, 2005, still producing them. This is certainly an indication of a great player's racquet. It is certainly timeless.

The POG family. L-R: 1987 mid 93sq; long body mid 100sq (rare); 87' mid 93sq (main stick); 2004 OS 107sq; 87 mid 93sq.

The one in the center is my main racquet which weights about 13.oz. It has 6 grams of lead tape on the head area at 9:00 and 3:00, and 9 grams of lead weight inside the butt cap area at the handle. All my POG are mainly strung with Luxilon TiMo 17 at 56 .lbs. These are just a few of my POG. I have about 14 more that are new, unstrung and in storage. Most are from the late 1980s models.
