Well it is 2008 and Samantha is in Hi school. She is in a AUTIM Class without an aide. It is still in the same school system. She now rides the County School bus to school.
Samantha is fortunate in that she has had several years in a SDC Classes. She has a new teacher again this year.
Samantha functions well at school. She loves to be there. She goes to the store and has to buy within the bounderies of the amount of money she can afford.
She has gotten quite proficient on the computer. She has a large vocabulary and can input the computer and knows how to surf the internet and bookmark favorite sites (she is partial to Gwen Stephani).
She lives with her Mother and gets to see her Grandmother every day. She loves to visit with her older sister Sarah.
Samantha doesn't get to see her Dad since he moved to Tennessee last year. Hopefully he will visit her soon.
She is almost 17 years old and is getting tall (5'5"). She loves to tell her Mom how to drive and is the perfect back seat driver (although she only wants to sit up front where she can give directions).
