Cypress Mtn Dr is the crucial connector between the ocean and Paso Robles crossing the Coastal Ridge. It's the link between Santa Rosa Creek Rd and Klau Mine Rd, providing a quieter alternative to the busy Green Valley Rd (Hwy 46).
The road is fairly steep from either side and mostly unpaved. But at least in the dry season you can ride it just fine on a road bike.
