Deer Creek Rd is a short (3.5 km) but very steep (11.5% average) climb starting at Hwy 1. The road then continues as Pacific View Rd and Cotharin Rd which ends at Yerba Buena Rd. Essentially this segment is an alternative to the climb on Yerba Buena Rd.
