That's me, Andreas, on the left. I started track racing in late summer of 2007, and I think I really found what I'm good at on a bike: sprinting. I enjoy other types of riding, see my other site: CyclingCalifornia.Com, but it's the track where I will compete.

So far, I got a 12.6s flying 200m best on Hellyer's rough-and-tumble shallow, concrete track. I can usually beat guys who are a couple of tenth faster. A live competitor makes all the difference.

My Kilo time is 1:17, working on my speed endurance I hope for breaking the 1:15 barrier next year.

Unfortunately, I missed a podium place at the Masters California State Championships this year. I lost the fight for bronze 1:2 more due to lack of endurance than speed. Specifically in sprint #7, I didn't have much left and Jeff Poulsen took it extra long.

I will also start at the Master Nationals which are at Hellyer this year.

My long-term goal is to be the fastest Vogel on the track, but Kristina makes this a hell of an objective.

Coming 30 years late into track racing, I had a lot of catching up to do on sprinting, technique, training, tactics, who's who, etc and I couldn't find a place on the net which had all the information. So I started to ask and to search and what I collected I put up on RadSprint.
