but if you're ever in the Coachella Valley, look 'em up: - N/B Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage has one of those goofy "Interstate I-10" signs like the one in Dunsmuir. So does the intersection of E/B Country Club Drive at Monterey Avenue, also in Rancho Mirage. - The pictorial "signal ahead" sign at the recently overhauled E/B I-10 offramp at Washington Street is hung upside down with the green light at the top. - At the SR 111/86 split S/B in Coachella, the 111 sign with the Niland control has a backwards "n." - A sign in Morongo Valley just off SR 62 at Hess Boulevard still points the way to US 60. - Love the greened-out 66 in Barstow. W/B I-10 at the SR 60 split has a partially greened-out US 60 shield. Cool site! Ralph Squillace |

My name is Chris Powell, I live in Wrightwood California. I have three things to tell you. One is I really like your bloopers page.
The second thing I wanted to tell you is you should check out the I215 Northbound Interchange to California State 30 Eastbound. The reason is The 30 used to be the both 18 and 30 but when it was designated as California State 30 they greened out the 18 but not entirely, there is still portions of the borders of the 18 shield still visible on the sign.
The third thing I wanted to tell you is that at the future interchange of the 15 freeway and the 30 freeway, the 30 freeway after completion will be designated as I-210, but the sign right over Baseline Rd going Northbound says 30 Freeway East San Bernardino.
There are two things that confuse me. One the sign was clearly visible for about a week that assumed me that the 30 freeway was done from the I-210 to the I-215 even though the target release date is to be around 2002-2004, this has since been greened out for the time being as far as I can see until the 30 freeway is done, but it was quite ammusing seeing that it seemed that the 30 freeway was done from San Dimas to San Bernardino, but even from I've read the 30 freeway will only be done to Sierra Ave, the rest of the freeway hasn't been funded.
