Woodland Iris Gardens has 2,400+ varieties of irises including rebloomers, historics, medians, and arilbreds. We have a koi pond and an outstanding rose garden with over a hundred climbers, bush and fragrant antiques.This year we have added 240 additional iris varieties, and 150 of these are "98-99" introductions.

• Garden Dates and Hours
  We welcome visitors to experience our sensational bloom season starting April 3rd, and we remain open until the last flower fades. Hours are 10 to 5 seven days a week.
  
• Directions
  In Modesto from Highway 99, take the Briggsmore exit. Go east on Briggsmore (about 7 miles). Go north on Claus Road (about 1/2 mile). Go east on Milnes Road (1.2 miles). Look for our sign. Actual garden address is: 5406 Milnes Road, Modesto CA. The property is bordered by very tall eucalyptus trees.

• Visitor Accommadations
  There is seating in the gardens and at the house for making selections from our catalog or just resting and regrouping. If you don't care to walk and look, you can sit and look at our many photo albums with up to date pictures.
  
• Local Attractions
  Modesto is the home of Gallo Winery, "American Graffiti" and is minutes from the Hershey Factory. It is located on the way to Yosemite National Forest.
